It's surreal being there when the photo was taken and then seeing how its mood and pathos changes drastically in the hands of a skilled artist. The contrast, colors, composition,...everything! is beautiful and expertly rendered (says someone who'd be saying the exact same thing even if she weren't biased). The eye flows very smoothly among all the elements.

Also, I really want to write/shoot something inspired by this now. :)

epic photo! :aww: i think the composition leaves something to be desired... maybe it would work better as a 1:1-ratio (square) crop? otherwise, amazing. keep up the great work. :highfive:
